This feature is in AnimateGL Pro. See AnimateGL Pro.
You can turn an animation off on some screen sizes, and play it only once per visit or per visitor.
Devices
In the block editor, open the Devices and play once group in the AnimateGL panel. Turn off Animate on mobile, Animate on tablet or Animate on desktop. Elementor has the same switches in the AnimateGL section.
On a screen where the animation is off, the block shows without animation. Its stagger, split text and trigger are skipped too.
A screen up to 767px wide counts as mobile, and one up to 1024px as tablet. Wider screens count as desktop. The size is checked when the page loads. Developers can change the widths with the animategl_breakpoints filter.
Play once
Set Play to one of these:
- Every time: the default.
- Once per browser session: remembered for the browser session (sessionStorage).
- Once per visitor: remembered in the visitor’s browser (localStorage). In the EU this may need the visitor’s consent.
After it has played, the block shows without animation.
Copies of a block, made with Duplicate or copy and paste, are remembered together: once one has played, the others show without animation too.
If the browser blocks storage, the animation plays every time.
